With Atriuum, you can create your own welcome message here to generate interest in your library!

In your custom message, you can provide general library information, types of materials available, information about reading programs for children, weekly storytime information, etc.You might introduce your staff to patrons, explain opportunities to earn extra credit by volunteering in the library, mention a note of thanks to someone who recently donated to your library, or include a patron quote about your library.You can also explain that if a book is unavailable, it can be put on reserve, including the fact that the patron will be notified when the item is available.These are just a few ideas for creating a welcome message. You can include anything relevant to your library.

With Atriuum, you can create a custom Library News page to keep your patrons informed about what's going on at your library.The following are sample Library News entry ideas:


Book Fair Week Set for Feb. 23
Announce an upcoming book fair or other library event, and list several items for sale at the book fair, as well as any special activities scheduled for Book Fair Week.

"Sharon Lee Named Patron of the Month"
Announce the Patron/Worker of the Month or reading/incentive program.Include the Patron's Name, Class/Home Room, Accomplishment and Reward.Include information about the Patron/Worker of the Month, such as hobbies and goals.Announce the incentive/reward for next contest.You can also include previous contest winners.

"New Items Available Now!"
Announce the newest items in your collection.You can also list Items that you are planning to add to your collection next month.

"Don't Miss Stephen King's Visit Next Month!"
You can announce a visit by a famous author or book collection visiting your library.
